Zeytinli Rock Festival has just started! The festival is celebrating its 6th anniversary this year. Zeytinli Rock Festival has been organizing since the 1st one in 2014. Since then, thousands of music lovers have been meeting at this festival.
The festival has 6 years of tradition and the number of participants in the festival is increasing year by year. Since 2014, Zeytinli Rock Festival has been organized with broader participation in the Altınkum Neighborhood of Edremit district of Balıkesir.

Zeytinli Rock Festival, which has just started, is going to end on the 1st of September. For this 5-days-festival, so many preparations have been carried out. 90 artists are going to give a concert and take the stage at the festival. Three different stages will be set at this festival and they will all be fully-equipped with the latest technology.
Artist Umut Kuzey, who is one of the organisers of the festival, informed about the festival and all progress on it. According to his statement, the acoustic stage implementation, that was implemented for the first time last year, will be this year, too.

Umut Kuzey said that “We started for Zeytinli Rock Festival in 2014. In 2019, we are organizing for the 6th time. Now, beyond the limits of, even beyond the borders of Turkey, the world in which the participation of people from different regions of Turkey Zeytinli Rock Festival is a pupil among other festivals. This year we expect about 20 thousand campers and about 35-40 thousand people in the area. Zeytinli Rock Festival is also a festival that has left its mark on history as a parade of Turkish rock music.”

How To Go to ZRF (Zeytinli Rock Festival)?
First of all, from any city in Turkey you just need to buy your bus ticket to Balıkesir/Edremit. Then, you must get off from the bus at Akçay main bus station. Later on, you will see the Migros market in front of the bus station. There, with local transportation called dolmuş, you will be at the festival area in 10 minutes.
From Istanbul, Akçay is 420 km. You will arrive in Akçay around 6 hours trip by bus. You can see the route by clicking the link below;
From Izmir, Akçay is around 200 km far away and you can arrive in Akçay in 3 hours more or less. The route is below;
From the capital of Turkey, Ankara, it is relatively a bit more far than Izmir or Istanbul. The destination takes about 650 km and it takes 7.5-8 hours. For the route, take a look at the map below;

How About The Festival Area?
First of all, the festival area will be as crowded and hot as hell. Furthermore, as an important detail, it is forbidden to bring any kind of drink, food, video equipment and professional audio. Organizer of the festival expect more than 40 thousand guests this year, so there might be some problems for the toilet. But, there will be many toilet and shower cabinets anyway.
