Certainly, you have probably seen lots of lists so far which contain some of the world’s most beautiful cities. Various websites prepare various lists of astonishing cities based on their taste. Here is ours!

There are, of course, many different standards and perspectives to determine the “beauty” of a city. As for us, we have simply tried to have put together the beauty perspectives of the East and the West. So, this attitude will probably clue you all in the fundamentals and main philosophy of Doyouknowturkey. That is to say, bringing together the occident and the orient…

Moreover, needless to say, there is a world-famous London Eye!

Next up in our poll, one of the most beautiful cities in the world is Prague. The city has two sides: by night it’s a buzzing metropolis with a hedonistic party scene. But by day you can lose yourself in a warren of quaint cobbled streets. Or else, spend an afternoon admiring the view from the Charles Bridge, that stretches across the Vltava river.

Located in Flanders in Belgium, very close to the North Sea, Bruges is an open-air museum. Its medieval center has been extremely well preserved which explains why it is listed as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. The city flourished in the Middle Ages when it was a major trade center in Europe. The “Venice of the North”, as it is often called because of the many canals stretching across the city. Bruges (or Brugge in Flemish and Dutch) is the perfect place to stay at for a get-away weekend. Further, it has every right to be in the world’s most beautiful cities list.

All Roads Lead to Rome” is so famous proverb that it is still used in Western civilization. And the proverb showed up for nothing, but for a reason! Rome was both cultural, religious, political, and the trade center in the world for thousands of years. And what’s more, thousand-year-old buildings, beautiful piazzas, and world-class art – not to mention Vatican City – make Rome the most beautiful city in the world. Rome, after all, is the capital of the so-called bel paese, or “beautiful country”.
