Following Record from Turkish Diver Fatma Uruk
Afterward, Turkish diver, Fatma Uruk gave another try for another world record. The freediver dived into 65 meters in the “Constant Weight Bi-Fins” category. 65 meters was the previous world record in this category and Fatma Uruk set this world record with 67 meters. The previous record-holder was another Turkish athlete, Derya Can. She had set the world record in the same category by diving up to 70 meters in 2013. And so, another Turkish diver Fatma Uruk did not stop there and after breaking this record with 72 meters, she maintained the game. So, Fatma Uruk also set her own record with the second try. Thus, she elevated the record from 72 meters to 77. Hereby, Fatma Uruk tied her own world record with the second try.

Derya Can, on the other hand, is another world-famous and talented Turkish free diver. She had achieved her record in Turkey’s Kas city, in Turkey’s Mediterranean coastal province of Antalya.
