    Foreign Damat, which the International Herald Tribune newspaper said “No politician has brought Turkey and Greece closer than Foreign Groom”, started its broadcasting life on television in 2004. The story of the series stretching from Gaziantep to Athens was revolving around the love between the Turkish girl Nazlı and the Greek young man Niko (played by Özgür Çevik). Both of their families were conservative and strongly against love between the two hostile nations. However, love overcomes every obstacle and wins one way or another!
