The story of Sen Anlat Karadeniz – You Tell Me the Black Sea is about Nefes Zorlu (played byİrem Helvacıoğlu), a young woman who was sold as a bride to marry a rich man. After 8 years of a nightmarish marriage, the only good thing in Nefes’s life is her boy Yiğit. Never tried to escape from her husband Vedat Sayar many times but every escape attempt failed until she met Tahir Kaleli (played by Ulaş Tuna Astepe).

Tahir Kaleli is a modest young man in a rich family, he is a hard worker and brave. He works in a sand ship owned by his family. Tahir’s life is changed forever when he went to İstanbul for a business contract and visited Vedat Sayar’s house. Tahir witnessed to the violence on Nefes, and then Nefes asked him for helping her to escape with her boy. Tahir decided to help Nefes and her boy and take them to Trabzon (a city located Nort East – the Black Sea region of Turkey).
The escape and the adventure with drama, thriller and romance make this tv series a “perfect drama”.

The show, Sen Anlat Karadeniz, is the best show I have honestly ever seen in my life. It depicts the reality lives of women in Turkey, and needless to say that women from all over the world have suffered similar experiences of violence and oppression as Nefez Zorlu. The show is technically about her, and I really recommend it to everyone. It has been translated to English; it is called Life Line. And it is about to air in Mexico as well as other countries. It will be aired as Marnegro.
I recommend this show to everyone . I have watched it five times, and I’m never too bored from watching it again. ENJOY ;)
