Meat and Vegetable Hotpot (Güveç)

Ingredients

1 kg lamb

6 tablespoons oil

0.5 kg string bean

2 courgettes

3 potatoes

3 tomatoes

2 green sweet pepper

1 red sweet pepper

12-15 pearl onions

1 clove garlic

salt, black pepper, thyme

Recipe

Rub the bottom of hotspot put 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil and garlic at the bottom of the hotpot. Wash and peel all vegetables and chop into small pieces and season with salt, pepper. Add thyme to the meat and mix them. Put meat, string bean, onion, sweet pepper, courgette, potato and tomato pieces to the hot pot in this order. Add the rest of the oil and 1.5 water glass of water over the vegetables. Preheat oven to 250C. Wrap the top of hot pot with aluminium foil and cook for 1-1.5 hours.
