With its original title Paramparça, “Broken Pieces (world-wide English title)” Turkish soap drama is one of the most successful Turkish TV drama ever! So, we are going back to the year 2014, when Paramparça — Broken Pieces Turkish TV series first released.

After the series showed up on screens, it immediately became a phenomenon in both Turkey and the world. Over 50 countries from all around the world purchased the series. What is the Story of Paramparça — Broken Pieces Turkish TV Drama?

The story of Paramparça — Broken Pieces Turkish TV series follows two women whose lives are intertwined following an accident. Gülseren (Nurgül Yeşilçay) is pregnant. A car hit her accidentally and brought her to the hospital to give birth. Meanwhile, Dilara (Ebru Özkan Saban) gives birth at the same hospital. Due to the similarity of their last name, the nurses switch the babies while taking to intensive care nursery. And so, she wrongfully gives new-born babies to wrong parents. Gülseren’s baby was given to Dilara and Dilara’s baby given to Gülseren.

Fifteen years later, Gülseren lives with her adoptive daughter Hazal (Alina Boz) and sister-in-law Keriman in a poor apartment. Dilara, on the other hand, lives with her adoptive daughter Cansu (Leyla Tanlar) and biological son Ozan (Burak Tozkoparan). They live in a luxurious villa in the seashore of Bosphorus. Gülseren works as a saleswoman in a small store. Dilara’s relationship with her husband Cihan (Erkan Petekkaya), breaks down and Cihan leaves her. He starts dating Gülseren. And so, this situation drives Dialara into mad!

Crossing Roads, Broken Pieces…

Cihan’s childhood friend Harun (Barış Falay) comes to Istanbul. Then, he falls in love with Dilara, Cihan’s wife. Cihan proposes to Gülseren and Dilara becomes pregnant to Harun. On the day of Cihan and Gülseren’s wedding, a sad thing happens. The ex-husband of Ozan’s girlfriend Gülseren accidentally shot and killed Gülseren. After the death of Gülseren, Cihan’s life becomes complicated and he remarries Dilara.

However, neither Dilara nor Cihan are happy about this remarriage. Dilara again falls in love with Harun while Cihan falls in love with Ayşe. She is, by the way, is a famous psychiatrist and kickboxer. Cihan identifies her as the cousin of Harun and leaves her for the meantime. Dilara cannot abort a fetus and compassionately gives birth to the child. Later on, Cihan’s father kills Ayşe as she intrudes to Cihan’s father. He accidentally shot her to death while he was about to committing suicide.

In the final season, the Turkish drama brings out the different lives of the characters. We watch Cihan embarking, and exhausted with flashbacks of his earlier life events. On the other hand, Dilara marries Harun and both live with their child, Alas. The couple lives in Cihan’s home and with sibling Hazal. And Ozan becomes a businessperson who works patiently. And Cansu prematurely marries Deniz (Ceyhun Mengiroğlu) and expects a baby. However, she lost her baby because of her Parkinson’s disease.
