Who is Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ?
The accomplished actor was born on 27 October 1983 in Adana, the city which is famous with many popular names it brought in to Turkey. He lived in Adana until his father had a heart attack in 1997. Then he and his family moved to İstanbul. The actor always dreamed to be a basketball player, and so, he played in Fenerbahçe Basketball Team for a year. Later on, he played in Beşiktaş Basketball Team for a year, too. However, he had an injury, and unfortunately, after this injury, he had to quit basketball.
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ’s National Recognition
In 2002, the young Kıvanç joined “Best Model of Turkey 2002” and he was at the top. He was selected as The Best Model of Turkey. Then, he won the “Best Model Of The World 2002” in Paris. The handsome young was now the best model of 2002. After this great success, he moved to Paris and worked as a model for 1 and a half years.
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ Starts Rising as an Actor
There can be said many flattering things about Turkish actor, which we will, but the first thing among them is that even when he was at the top of his popularity, he had never stopped there. The Youngest UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ is the youngest UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador ever in the world and continues working for children. Additionally, Turkish actor Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and his wife Başak Dizer have volunteered to rescue Caretta turtles in southern Turkey. They helped to save 64 babies.
They participated in a project titled “Indigo Turtles” by Ecological Research Association in Turkey. The project aims to protect endangered sea turtle species breeding in the area. Moreover, the main purpose is to save the lives of around 15,000 each year.
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ on TV Screen
His TV career started after his return to his motherland. In 2005, the actor acted as Mehmet Sadoğlu in Gümüş along with the beautiful Turkish actress Songül Öden. Two years later, in 2007, this time he acted as Halil Tuğlu in Menekşe ile Halil (Menekşe and Halil).
And when calendars show the year 2008, the actor made his best debut with the phenomenon Turkish TV drama Aşk-ı Memnu (The Forbidden Love). In the drama, the actor displayed one of the most unforgettable Turkish TV characters ever, Behlül Haznedar, who falls in love with the wife of his uncle (Beren Saat). This “forbidden love” became one of the most iconic Turkish TV productions ever and brought international fame to the actor. The harmony of Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Beren Saat, with whom the actor falls in love, was fantastic, as well.
In 2010, he acted as a visiting actor in Ezel, a legendary Turkish TV series. The actor acted as Sekiz (Eight), and his performance was spectacular! Then, he appeared with another legendary TV production, Kuzey Güney (North-South, aka Kuzey Güney: Dos hermanos y un Mismo Amor). The actor acted as Kuzey, who was a wild and unpredictable one of the family. With this performance, the actor proved his acting talent once again. The series lasted between 2011-2012.
The Period of 2014-2019
The actor is quite selective when it comes to TV. During these 5 years, he only appeared in 3 TV series. As Kurt Seyit in Kurt Seyit ve Şura in 2014, he shared the leading role with Farah Zeynep Abdullah. Between 2016-17, he starred as Cesur in Cesur ve Güzel (Brave and Beautiful). In this series, the handsome and mysterious man “Cesur” falls like a bombshell into a quiet and peaceful town called “Korludag”. There, he finds the love of his life Sühan (Tuba Büyüküstün).
As for his last appearance on TV, it was Çarpışma (Crash), a Turkish thriller series. In this assertive project, the actor shared the leading role with the beautiful Turkish actress Elçin Sangu. In the series, Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ acted as Kadir Adalı, an avid police officer who tries to get rid of his past.
Cinema
The actor did also prove his accomplishment in several feature films.
In 2007, he made his first debut on the silver screen with Amerikalılar Karadeniz’de (Americans at the Black Sea) as Muzaffer.
His best performance on the silver screen was with Yılmaz Erdoğan’s Kelebeğin Rüyası (The Butterfly’s Dream) as Muzaffer Tayyip Uslu. He performed the life of a young poet from the 1949s, who was in love with a young woman. Unfortunately, he suffers from a mortal disease and waits to death along with his close friend (played by Mert Fırat) who is also a poet and in love with the same woman.
As a substantial note, the actor lost 40 kilos (88 pounds) for the role as the character he was displaying had a mortal illness and about to die.
In 2018, the accomplished Turkish actor Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ starred in two movies. As Ali in Hadi Be Oğlum and as Sarı Saruhan in Organize İşler 2: Sazan Sarmalı. In both feature films, he displayed great performance.
Private Life of Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ
As you all will remember, the successful Turkish actor and model Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ married to designer Başak Dizer on February 19th, 2016. When they got married, the couple had already had a relationship 2 years before. So, the duo has been happily maintaining their marriage for 4 years. Their marriage ceremony was also quite modest just like their private life itself.
Before this marriage, the actor has a relationship with Turkey’s miss world Azra Akın.
The Awards That Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ Received
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ received “Actor of The year in Long Feature Film Award” for his role in the film “Organize İşler: Sazan Sarmalı” in the 24th Altın Objektif Awards. Magazine Journalist Association (MGD) presented the ceremony on the 5th of November, last year.
Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ received “Most Liked TV series Actor of The Year Award” in the “Stars of the Year Awards on 9th of January, 2020. The organizers of the award ceremony were students of Yıldız Technical University. The university, by the way, is one of the most prestigious ones in Turkey.

j’ai aimé votre façon d’adaptation avec le rôle que vous choisissez dans vos series televisées mais le souci est qu’on a du mal à appercevoir et accepter cette attraction des scenes d’amour trop exagérés. puisque des familles regardent votre travail.
