The world’s eminent Hollywood star Jason Statham is in Turkey. On Feb. 26, the world-famous British actor celebrated President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s 67th birthday. So, he was together with the famous director Fuy Ritchie at the celebration. In the meantime, the celebration and the opening ceremony of the Istanbul Cinema Museum were simultaneous.
The World-Famous English Actor in Turkey for a New Movie
In our earlier article dated January 28, we shared that the actor is in Turkey for the shoot of his new movie. As for the name of the movie, it is “Five Eyes“. One of the world’s leading directors Guy Ritchie, by the way, is the director of the movie. So, for some of the scenes of the movie, Jason Statham, Guy Ritchie, and the film’s team landed in Turkey. Two months, for now, they have been in Turkey and recently celebrated Turkey’s President Erdoğan’s 67th birthday.

The stars have been in Turkey for some time. They have been spending this period in Turkey for the shooting of Ritchie’s new movie “Five Eyes.”
When did the Ministry Open Istanbul Cinema Museum?
Turkey’s Culture and Tourism Ministry opened Istanbul Cinema Museum on Feb 26 following two-years of restoration work. The museum is in the Atlas Theatre building on the touristic İstiklal Avenue in İstanbul.
Who were the Attendants at the Celebration?
Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and his wife Pervin Ersoy attended the ceremony. In addition to them, there were some other Turkish celebrities. Some of them are Orhan Gencebay, Hülya Koçyiğit, Ediz Hun, Oktay Kaynarca, Serkan Çağrı, Serdar Gökhan and İskender Pala. On the other hand, world-famous Turkish actors Engin Altan Düzyatan and Bülent İnal were also ready at the celebration.
