The famous Izmir International Fair is celebrating its 88th year in 2019, taking place between 6-15 September. The fair is the biggest and the oldest in Turkey. The international fair is the source of pride of Turkey’s fairs and expositions industry. In addition to that, the fair is also notable for hosting a series of simultaneous festival activities. The fair and several festivals during the fair are held in the compound of İzmir’s vast inner-city. The name of the park is Kültürpark and it hosts the fair. The fair generally starts in the first days of September and organized by IZFAS8 Izmir Fair Services Culture and Art Affairs), is a depending company of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality.

Famous Singers Will Perform at The Izmir International Fair
At the fair, both national and international names will take the stage. In the first three days of the fair, Goran Bregovic, Molika Molina and Glikeria will perform respectively. In addition to those names, Turkish solo performers and bands will also offer visitors unforgettable moments. Haluk Levent, Gripin, Hayko Cepkin, Yeni Türkü are going to take the stage as well during the fair.

Some Important Facts About Izmir International Fair
The first partner country of the fair was Austria in 2011. And the first guest of honour was France in 1992. Istanbul, on the other hand, is the guest of honour as the city this year. The organizers of the fair are expecting more than 3 million visitors this year during the 10 days long activities.
Entrance Fees of Izmir International Fair
The open areas of the fair will be open after 12 am. Entrance hours for halls, on the other hand, are between 16 pm and 23 pm during the day. Fair entrance fees are 4.5 TL (less than 1 Euro). However, the entrance fee is 10 TL on the 9th of September, when Izmir One Heart Solidarity Concert will be held. All revenue on the 9th of September will be used for the protection of Izmir forests.
