İbrahim Tatlıses is Recovering After Gun Assault

İbrahim Tatlıses, the famous singer of Turkey and the Middle East, had been assaulted with a gun four months ago. The attack was planned to kill him. He was wounded from his head and his body with multiple bullets, the damage was deadly, however, he succeeded to survive. After many surgery operations, now he is receiving treatment in a Rehabilitation Center in İstanbul.

After being attacked, he had surgical operations in Turkey, but his wounds were serious, thus his family decided to continue his treatment in Germany. After having surgical operations in Germany, the German doctors said that there is no hope for his left arm, and he will not be able to move his left arm anymore, also there is not much hope about his ability to speak and sing. This pessimistic approach was the reality at that moment, but recent news is good news and his fans are happy about them.

After completing his treatment in Germany, he returned to Turkey and started to get rehabilitation treatment at Romatem Darüşşafaka Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center in Istanbul. Despite the German doctor’s statements, his treatment and recovery process is going well. As the doctors of this rehabilitation centre stated, now he started to move his left arm, which was expected not to be controlled by him anymore. Also, it is told that İbrahim tatlıses is now able to climb stairs.


This good news excited his beloved fans and Turkish people. It is also said that he has started to sing again, and he is already singing to other patients in the rehabilitation centre.

This improvement is boosting his morale, and now he is planning to perform in a concert as in the old days before the miserable gunshot aimed to kill him.

The gunners were arrested in a short time after the attack, and they declared in their statement to police that, this attack was planned and it was about revenge from him.

İbrahim Tatlıses and his family are now far away from the vital danger fear, but the only thing they want now is to get back to the healthy days.
