Exxen TV: Brand New Digital Platform Begins to Serve on January 1st

As the Turkish audience, we said hi to the new year with two new digital platforms. The first one, which began to broadcast at the end of the last year, was Gain Media. As soon it has set out its journey on the internet as a digital media, it drew great attention. So, the second one is Exxen TV, which belongs to Turkish media giant Acun Ilıcalı. After his investment in the traditional media, now he sets his eye on more innovative media attempts.

These new attempts and innovative perspectives show that both media companies and the audience are enough with the old way. What’s more, it also means that they all look for something more modern. This also explains the big successes of international online content platforms, —such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Blu TV (the Turkish one).

Especially, considering the COVID-19 effect, quarantine conditions, difficulty of filming series and feature movies in the open air, the search for the new media becomes clearer. Meanwhile, no need to mention, now that movie houses and theatres have been closed for a long time due to the coronavirus restriction, over-the-top content platforms, —such as Netflix and Amazon Prime, purchased many feature movies. What is Exxen TV and How to Watch It?

15 programs that will be on Exxen TV have already been clarified. The new digital platform began to broadcast as of January 1, 2021. There will also be different packages on the platform where the paid membership system is available. Exxen will be a new digital platform with a paid membership system. Viewers will be able to follow this platform and the programs in its content via “exxen.com” by getting their membership.

How Much Does EXXEN TV Cost?

Acun Ilıcalı, who shared on his Instagram account, announced that the monthly price of Exxen will be 9.90 TL (1.34 $ and 0.98 GBP)

What are We Going to Watch on Exxen TV?

The programs and series that are certain to take place in the new digital platform taken on by Acun Ilıcalı are as follows:

• “Şeref Bey” (SERIES): The leading roles of the series will be names such as Haluk Bilginer, Ecem Uzun, Songül Öden, Şükran Ovalı, and Serhat Kılıç. The genre of the comedy, on the other hand, will be in the dark comedy genre,
• “Konuşanlar” (THE SPEAKERS): The Talk Show program, which is prepared and presented by Hasan Can Kaya and whose format is his own, will also be at Exxen.
• “GİBİ” (As If) (SERIES): Feyyaz Yiğit and Kıvanç Kılınç’s comedy series will take place in Exxen as of January.
• “TolgShow”: TolgShow, the program of the famous comedian Tolga Çevik, will meet with the audience on this digital platform.
• “Sihirli Annem” (MY MAGIC MOM): The Magic Mom series will be on this platform with its new episodes and new casting. The series has been broadcast on TV screens in recent years. And it was a true phenomenon back in then.
• Zeynep Bastık and Her Guests: Zeynep Bastık and the Guests program, where the music feast will be held, will take its place on the same platform in the coming days.
• Dirty Laundry: Challenging questions will await guests in the Dirty Laundry program, which will be hosted by Youtuber Orkun Işıtmak.
• Enis Arıkan: Enis Arıkan’s program, in which funny images will take place, will also be on the same platform.
