38th International Istanbul Book Fair: 02-10 November 2019

The countdown has started for TÜYAP 2019! 38th International Istanbul Book Fair will include a large number of publishers and non-governmental organizations in Turkey and abroad. The Main Theme of the 38th International Istanbul Book Fair: 1950s Generations in Our Literature

The International Istanbul Book Fair will host special events within the scope of the main theme of our literature. The 1950s Generations in Our Literature this year will be the main scope of this year. The 1950s and 1950s and Theater will be discussed under the direction of Zeynep Oral. On the other hand, the 1950 Generation in Magazine will be on the table under the direction of Metin Celâl. And finally, the 1950s and 1950s Generation in Publishing will be another topic under the direction of Fahri Aral. And Doğan Hızlan will moderate “The 1950s Generation Story and Poetry.”

International Guests of the 38th Istanbul Book Fair

Istanbul Book Fair will host international guests one precious from another within the scope of the program. On 2 November, two separate events, organized by the Cultural Center of Northern Macedonia, will focus on Balkan literature. Organized by the Red Cat Publishing House on November 9th, Pilar del Río will interview book lovers on the Nobel Prize for Literature, José Saramago. Tess Gerritsen, considered the queen of thriller novel in the world, will sign her books published by Doğan Kitap on November 9th and 10th.

Mehring Publishing House will organize a video conference with American writer David North on 10 November. And he is going to interview with his readers on “Lev Trotsky and Socialism in 21st Century”.

TÜYAP 38th International İstanbul Book Fair will be held between 2-10 November 2019. As every year, Istanbul will host the fair this year, too.

Where Is the TUYAP Book Fair?

The 38th TUYAP International Istanbul Book Fair will be held in TUYAP Fair and Congress Center in Büyükçekmece. The entrance will be free of charge for students, teachers, children, retired and disabled people. But on the other hand, the entrance fee is 10 TRY for other individuals. Visitors can whether purchase tickets at the entrance of the fair or via the internet.

As for the visiting hours, the fair will be open between 10.00-19.00 during the weekdays. So the weekends, the fair will be open between 10.00-20.00. The last day of the fair is the 10th of November on Sunday. And the closing hour is going to be 19.00.

How Can I Go To TUYAP International Istanbul Book Fair?

When you land at Beylikdüzü Last Station with Metrobus, you can easily reach the fair.
If you are coming with your private car, continue on the TEM Highway, Mahmutbey toll booths and leave the Bahçeşehir-Avcılar exit. You will continue in the direction of Avcılar and after 2 km you will reach the Büyükçekmece sign by E5 highway and after 3 km you will reach Tüyap Fair and Congress Center.
