Huge news for Turkish tv series fans and especially Çağatay Ulusoy‘s fans! Netflix, the popular streaming media provider, known for its “Netflix Original Series” has just released the first trailer of “The Protector” (Turkish name “Hakan: Muhafız”) original Turkish tv series.
In May 2017, Netflix announced that it will start this project and launch it globally in 2018. Now, the company proudly announced that the first season is coming on December 14, 2018.
The Protector (Hakan: Muhafız)- Çağatay Ulusoy and Hazar Ergüçlü
The Protector (Hakan: Muhafız) is a superhero series. The scenario is based on a fictional Ottoman – Turkish legend and Çağatay Ulusoy is a young man who discovers his special powers. In the dark side of Istanbul, the evil Immortal must be stopped at all cost but The Protector is not ready and he must hide until his training is over. Hazar Ergüçlü, Ayça Ayşin Turan, Mehmet Kurtuluş and Okan Yalabık are the major cast.
The series seems to be a hero-driven plot, and in the first season, we will watch the development of this Turkish superhero with the help of his misfit friends to protect İstanbul, the centre of the ancient world…
