Buğra Gülsoy was born in Ankara in 1982, he had his first stage experience when he was only 13 years old. Whereas his early steps, he continued his education through university and studied on architecture. But he did not give up on acting, he was also interested in photography, graphical design, modeling also directing short movies.
On his university years he acted in short films also directed four short films. His professional career on television was started in 2009 in the movie “Güneşi Gördüm (I Saw the sun)”, after this movie he started to act in television series and become a popular drama player.
His first major role was “Fatmagül’ün Suçu ne? (Fatmagul)” which broadcasted internationally and made him a worldwide star. After Fatmagülün Suçu ne, he played in Kuzey – Güney (North – South) with Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ. “Eski Hikaye (Old Story)” and “Bana Hicran de (Call me Hicran)” was his other projects but couldn’t achieved as expected.

It is said that Selen Soyder was the reason behind this divorce. After his divorce, he started dating with Nilüfer Gürbüz and they have been together for 2 years.
