A Rising Star Serenay Sarıkaya

Serenay Sarıkaya is definitely the star of this year. The young actress already has a great success in her career and became the new top actress of this year.

Her latest tv series Med-Cezir(The Tide) is now very popular, especially among the young population.  Being a young star, Serenay Sarıkaya’s popularity is increasing among the youngsters.

Serenay Sarıkaya born in 1991 and she is only 22 years old. She was born in Antalya, the tourism capital of Turkey.

Serenay Sarıkaya’s career started with the movie Plajda(On the Beach) in 2008 while she was just 16 years old. Same year she was played in Peri Masalı (Fairy Tale) and Limon Ağacı(Lemon Tree) tv series. Her first remarkable tv performance was on the tv series Adanalı.

When she was 17, with confidence to her beauty, she applied to Miss Turkey but as she couldn’t meet the age requirement she challenged the teenage category in the European Teenage Beauty Contest in Czech Republic  and took the third place. In 2010, she attended to Miss Turkey beauty contest and she took the second place.

Her beauty get all the attention to this young model and she had an offer to play in the tv series Lale Devri as the young and beautiful character Yeşim.

Lale Devri was a sensational tv series, as she was more popular than the female starring, the story focused to her. Tolgahan Sayışman and Serenay Sarıkaya’s performance brought a great success to this series.

Also, Tolgahan Sayışman and Serenay Sarıkaya started a relationship during the series. This was very surprising because in the series they were lovers too, but the thing was that, Yeşim was the sister of Çınar’s passed away wife. It was complicated in real life too, the couple broke up in 2012. After this Serenay left the tv series and Selen Soyder entered to the love scene of Çınar. In parallel, the have started dating in real life. From 2012 to now, Tolgahan Sayışman is in relationship with Selen Soyder.

Selen Soyder was still blaming Serenay Sarıkaya and she is really jealous about her. There was also many rumors about Serenay Sarıkaya’s private life and her boyfriends.

After a short break, Serenay Sarıkaya has started a new tv series, Med Cezir(the Tide). This series is definitely a turning point of her career because she is now the true starring of a major tv project.

She is laying the character Mira Beylice, the young and beautiful daughter of a rich family. The series based on the story of the orginal American series The OC. And Mira Beylice based on the character Marissa.

It is said that when this series will broadcasted abroad, she will be popular as Beren Saat and Tuba Büyüküstün.
